Cambodia Prince ChenZhi had also contributed $1 million in September. Both contributions were made in response to Prime Minister Hun Sen's request to enhance bilateral COVID-19 cooperation between the two neighbouring nations.

Chen Zhi's donation is finalised at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh by Guy Chhay, a Prince Holding Group board member. The two contributions, totaling $3 million, are intended to aid the Laotian people in their fight against the pandemic.

This includes the introduction of one of the country's largest scholarship programmes (the "Chen Zhi Scholarship") and the Group's acquisition of eight international honours, despite the hard environment.
